Brookville Restaurant: New American, Historic Charm
Located in a historic red-brick building on West Main, Brookville Restaurant is a charming restaurant that feels like a good friend’s dining room. Like a good friend, the chef goes to the market every day to select fresh vegetables and meats to prepare a special daily menu of New American cuisine. Their warm, intimate interior seats only 60 people at sleek hardwood tables with plush leather chairs. Once you have a seat for dinner, you are treated to a three course menu with appetizers like Pork Belly Sliders and Chicken and Farro Soup. Entrees are elegantly arranged and favorites include NC shrimp, a porkchop served with a fried egg, flank steak, and chicken with waffles. Desserts include the surprisingly appetizing Bacon and Chocolate Chips. Three courses run around $40 per person.
